Sent my hilux ute in to get the gearbox reconditioned, & they put a second hand gearbox in & said it was done. I picked it straight away. Sent it back, they reconditioned my original box & had problems of whining & jumping out of gear. AVOID THIS COMPANY. The sooner they’re gone the better. They also deleted my original review from a few years ago. Judging by their current reviews things haven’t changed.

The bearings in my diff needed replacing over Christmas, so had limited options, unfortunately I went with these lot. I pulled the diff out myself so all they had to do was replace the bearings and adjust correctly. When I picked it up the diff did seam have a bit more backlash than I would have expected, though didn’t think to much of it (and to be honest I didn’t want to go back to them because they came across very dodgy). 12 months later the bearings have had to be replaced again. I went to Neville and Duke with my Jeep. Most garages only offered a gearbox replacement however the Gear box shop reconditioned ours for a third of the price others quoted, with a warranty. The job was complete in a day and now a couple of months down the track gearbox is still preforming well. Very happy with the service.
