I've purchased 3 sets of tires here in the past year and will continue to buy all my tires here. Staff are super friendly, knowledgeable & stand behind what they say. They carry Nokian's which are hands down the best winter tires to keep my family safe as we travel back and fourth from the ski hill in all weather conditions.
This place is a true gem. Paige and Paul are both professional, friendly and helpful. I had a flat tire on my truck - Paige quickly found the issue to be a damaged rim. There was no “diagnostic/inspection fee”, and they put on my spare free of charge along with a new lug that needed replacing. I ordered a replacement rim online, and they installed it the day after it arrived. I felt like they truly cared about customer service, and did not just prioritize making a buck. Highly recommend!
Fit me in when I needed them ... fast service and involved workers
Recently, I had an issue on a Saturday afternoon with a very loose tire while I was driving on Hwy 101. Kal Tire was the only place open to help me by tightening up the tire so that I could make it home safely. I truly appreciate the service that they provided after only a moment's notice. Thank you Kal Tire employees!
I severely damaged a front tire on my VW GTI in mid-afternoon last Saturday, and I had to drive back to Massachusetts the next day. Almost all of the tire shops in Nova Scotia had closed for the weekend by then, and although Kal Tire in New Minas was still open, they didn't have the tire I needed.
