RecommendedJust delivered my 2nd son at HCGH this past Tuesday . Once again every single person that helped me through labor & delivery and recovery were beyond amazing !!! So helpful and very pleasant to deal with the whole time. So grateful for having such great staff to help me through the delivery and stay afterwards.
They have a sign on the front of their building that states all VISITOR, PATIENTS and STAFF must wear masks. I entered the building after driving 2.5 hours to pick up a patient that had just had surgery. Upon entering I was told the hospital was on “lockdown” and I was not permitted to use the public restroom. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! Try putting a sign on the front doors that does not indicate you are welcome if you are wearing a mask. This “pandemic” has completely knocked common sense out of people!

I have to say the EMT, doctors and nurses and Techs @Howard County General Hospital, Johns Hopkins Medicine are the best! I am sharing a review that I do not see posted (today), please acknowledge this post. On July 20, my husband was admitted in the ER Suburban Bethesda (Md) He doesn’t speak English fluently and was lectured by a nurse on his lack of English language skills. At this point, my husband was in a lot of pain and the nurse kept telling him that he should learn English. Howard County General hospital dr.s, imaging staff don't know what they are talking about or doing... I am overly disgusted with them. For the past 3 months I've been fighting with them about my infant son having a possible hernia and listening to their crap stating that I AM WRONG and it being an *epidydimal cyst* in their eyes.
