This is my experience with GCI as a company, not necessarily this location: Our internet stopped working 7/27. I was on hold with tech support for a long time and they said that it was out all over Anchorage. I tried to reach out to the chat folks a few days later but it took over twenty minutes for them to reply and I had to leave. I finally called today 8/13 and was on hold for over an hour. GCI store has a large selection of cellphone, tablets and electronics. Has excellent service and sizeable locations throughout Anchorage.
Gci has completely gotten worse over the years. My father got his card hacked and hes up in the mountains so he cant make his payment. So he transfered money to me to go on to make a payment and GCI absolutely refuses to accept the payment from me in cash or MY card to pay his bill cuz im not a authorized user. How in the dam world can I not make a payment to his account with my OWN money even after I have all his information and #.
