I went to the Gci store. I got my data plan. That was really good and helpful. I might had to wait a little to get my tablet which I needed my own quit working. I suggest a new one because yours is too old anyway they were very useful. Customer service was very good. I like this Gci store here on. I would go back if I have problems with my data or a very useful and helpful. See a guy named Keith or David . They are very good and helping with customer service.
Not a great experience here because of the wait times. You give your name to a computer when you arrive and then have your choice of uncomfortable seats to wait. I purposely went at an off time and still had to wait 45 minutes to return one piece of gear. I added a star because the customer service agent I finally saw was nice and competent.
Went through the process on their website to get internet and said they can call me anytime to get started. They call me and their connection was so sloppy I couldnt hear anything they said. They said they would call me the next day... I dont think so. That is a really bad look for a phone/ internet company.
Gci should be required to give people reimbursements for all the lack of service provided. I get better service with 2 cups and some string than with this provider. Embarrassing to be considered one of the best in Alaska. Its been over a month of having poor quality service with no fix. Its only gotten worse.
