Worst Internet provider I've ever had.
Kept losing service. Tried calling customer service and got tossed from agent to agent. None of them taking notes, had to start from the beginning with each person. Found out they out source all their calls and no one cares. I finally gave up and hung up.
The customer service I experienced and observed was horrible. My trade in process was completed but was not walked through what was going on by my representative. I, nor other customers walking in, were greeted up upon entering the building which I believe creates a better environment. GCI representatives were sitting leisurely, snacking, on their phones and overall seemed uninterested. Overall, being the face of the company, this location needs better customer service.
Friendly staff (and thats the reason for one star). Their services are getting worse and worse with every year. Places I've had service for years are now dead zones (ALL IN ANCHORAGE and on the highway). You can tell them issues and they dont get resolved yet the prices go up all the time for barely functioning service. Home internet is good enough (reason for the second star), but again I dont have phone service in most of Anchorage. Trac phones are better, heck anything is probably better. Worst Internet I've ever had, paid for "1gb speeds" fastest plan. Got maybe 100mbps if I was lucky. Called customer support to be explained that they don't know what's going on or to upgrade my plan, transfered 3 times to rexplain my issues to each person. Go with another company
