Extremely Disappointed – Poor Service, Wrong Products, and Overcharging I visited Guitar Center a few days ago to purchase studio recording equipment. My experience started off poorly when I sat in the store for 10–15 minutes without being acknowledged, while others who entered after me were immediately asked if they needed assistance. I went to "audition" a couple of inexpensive acoustic guitars with pickups and was impressed with the assortment of guitars in stock, including the two Yamaha guitars I was hoping to compare. I was also impressed with the service, as one of the guitars I wanted to check out was way up high and one of the store associates didn't hesitate to get a ladder and bring it down for me. I played in what felt like my own private guitar room for an extended time.
Everyone is very helpful here. My daughter takes guitar lessons, and we are pleased with the results.
