I genuinely enjoy learning guitar and had a good relationship with my instructor, which makes this review harder to write — but the administrative side of Guitar Center lessons has been a consistent source of frustration. The automatic billing system does not account for real-world disruptions: public holidays, instructor illness, center closures. None of these were my doing, yet the charges kept coming. This specific one quite literally displayed a guitar that you couldn’t even purchase because “it’s on hold” So I couldn’t purchase it and left ofc empty handed and wanted to spend a lot over there

I came in to buy an amp that I called in earlier to hold it for me. Their staff (tyler) told me on the phone they had it in stock and drove an hour out the way just to waste my time on a scratched up floor model. He was also about to sell it without the footswitch that is supposed to come with it at FULL PRICE STILL! I drove an hour out the way for this and wasted my time with their "brilliantly" trained staff. Would not recommend this location.
