#1: Excellent range of hours. Opens at 7:30am and is available 7 days a week. Qualifier: I was an 8AM walk-in on a Tuesday morning. Every staff member that my husband and I interacted with was friendly, professional, patient: Front Desk Administrators, Clinical Nurse Assistants, XRay Technicians, and the Physicians. #2: Service was prompt. Today, I had my first visit at this GBMC location after years of experience at another GBMC location. I found the best primary doctor, Dr. Gabrielle Siegel. She’s the role model for primary care filled with patience, knowledge and more. So grateful to find a fabulous physician that’s rare. Make your dedicated work contagious, Dr. Siegel. In addition, the front desk staff, nurses were so caring and helpful.
I’m very disappointed with my experience at GBMC Plus. My understanding is that this service is supposed to provide easier access for patients who have a more immediate, everyday health concern, especially since getting an appointment with a family doctor at this practice can already be extremely difficult. It was the worst experience that I have ever had at GBMC. First, they operate with a call center which I told them I would be late. I arrived by 4:50 p.m. and my appointment was at 4:20 p.m. Monica Rivera was the PA that I was scheduled to see and refused to see me. The only positive was maybe the "office manager" seemed to be accommodating but she only offered a sorry and told me another urgent care is close.
