My friend is a former patient of Dr. Sandra. She receives iron transfusion therapy at the institute. On two occasions she was met with harsh treatment. 1st she was forced to reschedule her appointment upon checkin after being told without a copayment she’s unable to see the doctor. At her infusion appointment she was forced to pay a copayment and the total amount for the iron infusion treatment although she has insurance out of a malicious intent. Shame on the employees working here .
They do not answer the phone whatsoever. Told me wait time was 5 minutes I was on hold for over 20 and I eventually hung up. Terrible service.
I'm a bit perplexed by the reviews, which seem quite polar. I was given a surprise diagnosis of breast cancer after a 'dirty' mammogram, and it was quite a shock. My gynecologist immediately referred me to GBMC Berman Cancer Institute, and it was such a relief. They 'took the reigns,' and I had everyone from a brilliant surgeon, wonderful oncologist, and amazing radiation therapists immediately. To make things more complicated, I had surgery and treatment in the age of Covid 19, making it a lonely journey indeed. I'm so glad... read more
I'm a new patient and have been on hold now (without ever speaking to a human) for 1 hour and 20 minutes. The recording said the average wait time was 14 minutes!
