This is for the Brain and Spine Institute in Baltimore I’m just not sure where else to leave this review. The neurologists there are truly awful, as people and as doctors. She ignored everything I tried to tell her and accused me of using my emergency medication to “get high or something”. I will never step foot in this building again and I don’t recommend anyone else does either
I'm surprised at the negative reviews, as everyone--from receptionists, both in person & on the phone, to nurses to support services to oncologist--have been nothing less than extremely & quickly responsive, caring, compassionate, extremely knowledgeable & helpful at all times. DR LI is one of the most empathetic doctors I've ever met. The nurse navigator--Jessica--is wonderful, as is every single infusion nurse I've had. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and cared about.
The center is wonderful. I had to lower the score due to the social worker, Bunny. They swear she’s so good. No. I spoke with her because of some domestic issues. I told her all the things. She determined that I already had help. I spoke to her later asking her for a letter stating that she’s a mandated reporter and did not make any reports. My friend is a former patient of Dr. Sandra. She receives iron transfusion therapy at the institute. On two occasions she was met with harsh treatment. 1st she was forced to reschedule her appointment upon checkin after being told without a copayment she’s unable to see the doctor. At her infusion appointment she was forced to pay a copayment and the total amount for the iron infusion treatment although she has insurance out of a malicious intent. Shame on the employees working here .
