I wanted to resize my Morganite ring. I checked Holly McHone jeweler first. They said takes 4 weeks to resize it and they are the only one to do it around this area. However GB Jewelers in Warrenton resize my ring less than a week and with very reasonable fee compare to Holly McHone. And of course they did very good job. Thank you.
I just turned home from a wonderful trip to Gannaway Jewelers (GB Jewelers) in Warrenton, OR! Jim and Tim, his twin brother, are very reputable goldsmiths who make and have some unbelievable pieces. I was looking for a rather rare sapphire and Jim took such good care of me, texting me with pictures and cost and holding the piece until I could get to their store. Wonderful people. Took my ring in for a prong tightening and they let me know about a very big problem with the side stone setting. They suggested I bring it to the original maker.(aka they were not just trying to get my business) I told them that I trusted them and would rather give them the money to fix. They did a beautiful, quick job and the ring is more secure than ever. The changes they did were invisible to the naked eye, yet saved me from a missing diamond!
