I did very little research on Gaze before my first appointment with them today, so I was absolutely bowled over by how incredibly welcoming Dr. Ah-Kiné's practice is from the moment I stepped inside to the moment I left. The interior of the practice itself is decorated with obvious delight and joy, with a clear emphasis on being a safe space for clients. Excellent service and care. Selection of glasses is top notch with traditional and modern styles available.
I can’t say enough about how great Gaze is! The people are so kind and professional. The space is bright and cheery. I came in on a whim to get my favorite glasses tightened. No appointment, and they took me right in, did a fantastic job, and even cleaned my glasses too. Highly recommend this place for your optical needs!

Very cool space. It really feels like you get a lot more personalized attention than a lot of other optometrist’s offices or optical stores. Dr. Ah-Kiné and Mac are super personable and they don’t dress in scrubs and lab coats so there’s no risk of white-coat syndrome. Nothing feels rushed. When I dropped by to pick up my contacts they were able to squeeze me in for a quick follow-up.
