I read the reviews for this Dr, but continued with my appointment bc it’s all in the same office and was convenient. I am back to share my experience so you can look for a different Dr who will treat you with more respect. She told me she was “doing me a favor” by printing out my lab results (already had them from Quest) and referring me to the ENT (I am already a patient there too). I go to Dr Sarka for Hypothyroidism and she has been very attentive and monitors my levels every three months as she adjusts my doses. I have never had a problem with her she is super attentive and answers all my questions. I cannot be the only patient who has a good experience and care with her. 🤷♀️ I am very happy with her management of my care.
She called me on Nov 18th, 2024, because I didn’t show up for an appointment and the reason why I didn’t show up because I don’t believe that she is much of a doctor, and I didn’t want to waste my time with you and money. When I visited her on first or second visit, I had a question about diabetes, and she refused to answer saying that I’m working with another doctor, and I don’t want to interfere……what a stupid response that was and right there and then I didn’t have any respect for her. Dr. Sarkar is an amazing doctor and is very compassionate to her patients, also very experienced.
I would rate this Dr at a 0 but not an option. After experiencing the lack of effort or concern I saw on her reviews just what kind of Dr she is and went to USF. Called the office for a month and a half for her to send my recent MRI and she blatantly refused. I asked what the results were and she refused. After 20 calls to ensure USF received my recent MRI they lied and said they faxed it to them. When I went to USF yesterday they never received my MRI. This violates my rights under the HIPPA ACT!
