Dr Rao is the best doctor in the country. She is very detailed and has a wealth of knowledge. She is very experienced. She is always right about the diagnosis. Bedside manners and patient counseling is excellent
Dr Rao should not be practicing medicine. She was arrogant, rude and wouldn't let me speak or ask a question! She made a life altering diagnosis about my 20 year old son, without seeing the test results. When the results did come in, they proved she was wrong. Dr Rao treated us so badly, didn't listen to our concerns or questions, talked over me (like I'm too dumb to understand) and just bragged about her 20 years of experience at Yale. Best Neurologist I’ve had yet! Dr. Rao was very attentive to me and took the time to listen to my complaints and involved me in creating a treatment plan I felt comfortable with and that has been working well for me! Highly recommend !!
Dr Gautami Rao made right from the first visit a very good impression. Her approach is warm and personable, one feels right away comfortable with her. Dr. Rao is a very kind and sincere expert in her field. She has your best interest in mind for you to live your life with epilepsy. She makes the right decisions for medications and dosages for your specific epilepsy condition. I feel very comfortable in her doctor’s office and on my own living my life with her recommendations.
