I was an established pt. and following a recent orthopedic surgery, I had 2 colon blockages. I was requested to telephone Dr. Arora to seek his advice on treatment. I left a message with his nurse, but they refused to return the call. I will be seeking a new GI Dr.
Dr Arora did not talk to me after the second procedure nor did he call me after with the pathology report. When I called his office, they stated just come back in 3 years and it was benign. He did not seem concerned about issues I was having. I asked question and he did not give direct answers. Probably would have saved me from having a second colonoscopy in the same week.
not good..without getting into all the details... he basically told me that i was to eat gluten before my egd/colonscopy so he would know for sure if i had Celiacs... not going to happen.... was diagnosed years ago with Celiacs and if anyone has every experienced the side effects of gluten with this disease.. it is not pretty and extremely painful.. since then have moved on and found another GI dr. whom i am pleased with and said never go back to eating that with this disease that he confirmed via scope .....
I really like Dr. Arora and his staff. He has a great bedside manner. The girl that answers the phone is always so nice and helpful.
I feel with Dr. Arora I am receiving the best treatment for my esophageal issues and follow up care.
Excellent doctor who does a great job explaining your condition to you. Have used him in a liver emergency case and two EGD's and colonoscopies.
I was referred to Dr. Arora initially for esophageal issues. He has followed up on that and thanks to his recommendations there is no longer a problem with Barrett's esophagus. More recently I was referred to him for other issues. He is attentive, explains courses of treatment, and preferred changes in life style. I am very pleased with him and his office (PA, clerks, nurses, etc.)
My appointment was at 3:30. I arrived at 3:00 to fill out new patient paperwork. Called to exam room at 3:30 and waited for hour and half to finally see Dr Arora. I asked him if this is how long I have to wait to see him and he told me it was because I'm a new patient. I will look for another Doctor. This was unacceptable.
