I was vantage house twice. I hated each experience. The first time when I was pregnant. And again once I had my daughter. Both times were terrible. They have no structure what so ever. There’s nothing but down time. They barely have groups and when they do it’s as if they threw them together 20 minutes before. The staff is very rude and disrespectful and most definitely have their favorites. The counseling there is a joke. Nobody seems to want to do their job. The worst rehab experience I’ve ever had in my life, I’ll never forget how terrible it was. Not only do they make you memorize about a books worth of information about the groups and rules and this page long chant were forced to recite after every group; but you have to memorize it or you cannot make phone calls or write letters to loved ones. I went to this rehab for six months when I was pregnant with my daughter. Yes, some of the staff was rude at times and they tried to put me down and they prioritized other clients before me and those clients that were at their top ranking are now still struggling with addiction, but this did change my life for the better. Now I am going on three years clean this coming June, and they definitely pointed me in the right direction And I was able to work past my trauma and live a healthy happy life.
