This place was the worst facility I swear. Nobody wants to work when I got there they didn't scan new clients for covid I was there 2 days and the whole facility got covid including all the newborn babies. They did not give me all my credit cards or my cash when I left the facility and how do you not go over everything that I brought I live an hour and a half away and they forgot all my babies formula when I was leaving. Not speaking as a previous resident, but the parent of a current resident. When trying to reach the Ashland facility (IN AN EMERGENCY), is as hard as walking to Washington DC!!! The 800 # listed gets you NO ONE!! Even after listening to hold music for 15-20 mins, hanging up and calling back several times! If this is the # an addict needs to desperately reach some one for help, Im going to pray now for that individual, because of the lack of covered phones, is slim to any!! My overall experience with Gaundenzia Fountian Springs was good, the Program help me obtain and maintain sobriety while learning about addiction and taking parenting workshops. This women's or Mommy&me program also helped me regain full custody of my 2 children because I worked the Program by putting my all into it, they put their all into helping me fight for my children back. The counselors are nice however staff pick favorites. Groups never start on time and on the weekends your lucky if you get two hours of clinical. It's unorganized. They allow bullying and when you mention that it's happening they do nothing about it. Plus side would be that woman are allowed to bring their children with them to treatment. Definitely try out other locations.
My mom started rehab at this center about maybe 10 years ago. This rehab center is amazing! The fact that you can allow patients to have their kids with them and getting help at the same time is great! I’ll never forget what they did for me and my siblings and my mom. This rehab center is the best I’ve seen so far. Unfortunately I think I’ll be sending my mother back to this place.
