We were formerly located on Burlingame Ave. but have reopened in San Mateo. We feature an extensive menu as well as a broad list of regional California wines to compliment your meal. Please stop by and visit us. We offer Dine-In, Take Out, and Delivery as well as a private banquet room for large parties.

This place is my favored. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this restaurant I go the most. The stuff is very warm and the cooking they serve is so tasty. I never miss an opportunity to have a good meal in this place. I recommend this place with pleasure.
My family has gone to Gau Pong for 25+ years. Will always remember how energetic and kind Jerry was each time entering the back of the store in burlingame. An Judy kept it going in San Mateo, remembering who we were each time we came in. The food has been so good the entire time. It will be missed! Thank you!!
Been going to Gau Poung for many many years. Never had a bad meal there. In fact, when they closed at 1 time for a year or so we NEVER found another Chinese Restaurant that was comparable. LOVE THIS PLACE. Judy is awesome. Can't wait to dine in again
