Excellant place to see the reptiles Ok this place not only has gators but a bear as well. This place is awesome! You can feed the gators and walk around to see the swamps it's really a great place to go when theres nothing to do. Plus the price is really cheap so I really love this place. You can also get an annual price for the rest of the year with the purchase of one ticket PROS: The gators! CONS: Get s a little hot in the summer
Must-See for Everyone! Gatorland is a long-time "tourist attraction" that should be seen by everyone--visitors and residents alike. They not only exhibit alligators and other animals, but they provide a lot of education about them and their native habitats. Because they actually "farm" alligators, visitors can see gators from birth to full-grown, including photos of some sizeable record-holders. The Godwin family did Central Florida a great service with this venue, and it's a good place to see alligators up close and, if you... read more
Another great place to visit! It is a nice family attraction, However, If you do not like gators then you shouldn't go. There are so many that, It can be scary, and very very hot. They do have a splash pad for the little ones, so that helps. PROS: Childrens Splash pad CONS: summer florida heat
Not bad if you have nothing too do This is a good place for those who like reptiles. Me, personally I rather see fuzzy animals. But if you buy one ticket you get to go back for the rest of the year. So its a great place. Then, of course you see gators everywhere and you also have the option of paying for $5.00 hotdogs to them if you wish to waste your money PROS: Good Price CONS: Just not the greatest place
Military UNFRIENDLY Military UNFRIENDLY - http://www.gatorland.com/blogs/specials - is the location as of 02/03/2011 - they do NOT honor the military coupon posted to their own website. The coupon is out of date (june 2010 expiration). Even so, this is unacceptable. This website MUST be updated for those who make the 16 hour drive especially to see their facility. We even called to confirm before embarking on this vacation. When we arrived. They apparently have changed the pricing. We failed to get the name of the person we ... read more
World class for gators IT's not often you find a world-class park for gators, but here it is. Thousands of gators in their natural setting. And many other animals as well. Some call it tacky, but it's unlikely you'll find a better showcase for these animals than here. Don't miss the feedings. PROS: Great gators, and plenty of them CONS: Hot in the summer
Gators galore A family place to go while in Orlando. It is something different from all the disney places you can see. The shows here are great and a lot fun. Feed a gator even! The kids really love it because your upclose to the animals, but in a safe environment. The train ride they offer is not really worth the money you spend. It does takes you around the back of the park, but the staged dummies and a skeleton of an alligator are something that may impress the kids. It's a nice way to relax during the day after walking a... read more
Gotta love Gators This place was so amazing. Gives you an entirely different perspective on these land/water dwelling animals. Shocked me to find out they're even farmed as a food source. Watching them "jump" for food was great. Walking around and seeing them in what appears to be the wild was awesome and made you feel like they could eat you. You see all the levels of growth. Don't miss this place it is fun. Be sure to take a picture with a live aligator, we get lots of comments about our "shirt picture". PROS: Unique and i... read more
