Food was awesome! Great atmosphere, Cajun Style! Never had a bad meal there and we have been there hundreds of times!!
I ordered a kids shrimp basket for my 2 yr old, the kitchen admitted the shrimp were taken off of an already made poboy which is why they were covered in ketchup & mayo. My daughter HATES any type of sauce, she refused to eat it of course. Sad to say the service wasn't great either. I was a server myself so I have no problem tipping 20% or more, but truly our server did not provide great customer service. First time guest who will not be returning...
Me and my FiAnce were going to eat, so we called gator cove to ask what time they closed, they lady on phone said 9:00 and yes that they had crawfish! we drove an hour to get there at 8:30 to hear them say sorry we are closed! we had told her we were coming and the time that we would arrive and she was fine with it! needles to say she lied! my family after always doing business with them like business, Christmas, and birthday parties will have to take our business somewhere where they do not lie!
