We (wife and I) booked Gatherings for our wedding. It's not the prettiest on the outside as it's in a tech court, but what the venue looks like on the inside more than makes up for it. Location from the outside shouldn't be an automatic turn off. Especially because of the convenience to a handful of hotels that are in easy walking distance. One of my family members decided to get married there and it was a great choice.The staff was amazing and the set-up was perfect, I really enjoyed my time at the event and will very much tell people about it, and maybe even rent it myself...
