Gateway staff are ALL incredible people, very loving toward animals and very patient with upset/nervous pet parents! I've had nothing but incredible interaction, my dog and I are both treated with the utmost respect, and I fully trust putting my fur baby's health in their hands. I've never been rushed, and they're very patient about answering any and all questions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gateway, and will continue to make the trip even after I move!!!!!
I just can't say enough good things about gateway. Extremely friendly staff and vets that show their compassion for animals. Very nice experience with every visit. I have complete faith in the gateway staff.
Great docs and staff! Been with them for ten years now and still so very happy with the care and dedication of all. Our dogs feel comfortable and at ease with the vets and caretakers. Each vet we have worked with is completely involved in our dog's best health solution in a compassionate interactive way. I have found our vet at Gateway to be very caring and understanding. They have always taken excellent care of my pets and been very considerate. They do not rush into expensive procedures and always discuss all options with us before doing anything. I have been using this clinic for 15 years and can't imagine going anywhere else. I have also found their heartworm medicine to be cheaper than the online sites.
I found Gateway after experiencing a less than appealing "assembly line" service at another vet clinic in St. Charles that was outrageously expensive. Gateway is wonderful and I completely understand why it was ranked as "one of the best" Vet clinics in the Kane County Chronicle. Gateway billing is not the greatest. I had our pet in for checkup and paid the bill in full at time of service. A month and a half later I received a bill for a test that was done that they failed to add to my original bill. I called and the Manager would not give us any kind of discount whatsoever, knowing it was a huge error to begin with. Even if they discounted a dollar or two would have helped.
