This company picks up a kid on our block at 6:20-6:40AM every morning, how do I know ? The Gateway Transportation school bus driver of small bus 115 honks their horn to notify the family that they are outside and by doing so wakes us up. None of the other school buses who pick up on our block do this.

I saw a bus this morning full of kids sitting at McDonald's with no adults on the bus. It was bus #44.

If I had a saying I would not recommend this bus company. Because I have a special need child going to a different school we have to use this company. I’ve drove school bus myself and I have never dealt with this nitpicking game . For example morning bus drive can’t blow the horn , child missed bus and school . Dispatcher said they don’t blow the horn. But the afternoon bus driver blows the horn 2 houses before they get to my house . Afternoon of 3/18/25, at intersection of Maple Ave & Freemans Bridge Rd, had a Gateway bus (#43) tailgate us as we went the speed limit down Maple Ave, and then pass us on the right when the road went to two lanes as we approached a red light at Freemans Bridge Rd. Bus was going so fast I wasn't sure it would be able to stop at the light. Driver ended up in the intersection (picture) trying not to skid to a halt.
