I attended gateway tech for not even two weeks and though the teachers were great and friendly, I dropped my classes before the date they had to be dropped by to receive a partial refund and was told that I would NOT be getting a refund at all and that I actually owed money still (that if I didn’t pay it would go to collections). What a joke. If you tell students they’ll be getting a partial refund for dropping by a certain date then you need to honor that. I really liked Gateway until I got to the surgical technology program. I took all the other science and medical related classes and received A's. However, with the surgical tech program, if the instructor doesn't like the way you perform a skill, she can and will fail you. That means you will have to retake the whole class again. You will have to wait an additional year, pay for it again, and retake it with the same instructor hoping for a different outcome. No thank you.

Find it very funny how you guys still have yet to give the bookstore the list of students who have earned honor cords for graduation and yet they still haven't had got the list at all! I busted my butt to graduate on time this year would have expected something in return for us graduates for all of our hard work on top of student life is coordinating pick up for our graduation diploma covers and other things and still have yet to hear about that and you guys don't even update your site to let us know anything. It has been a SOLID year of waiting for GTC to send proper paperwork to WI DSPS for my credential licensure. I have sent DOZENS of emails that get "forwarded" from one person to the other, with everyone passing the buck and brushing off accountability. I will forfeit my ability to continue to earn for my family and gain a clientele due to the fact I cannot service without my license. I recently tried to apply to gateway Well for starters IF YOU LIVE IN ILLINOIS YOUR SECOND HAND they wont tell you until after they take your 30 dollars that its not a Guarantee that you will get into classes because WI come first. The process to enroll was just complicated I feel they should tell you everything before accepting money and you gotta pay for your background check plus The admission and new student service was not helpful and rude

I received my Associate Degree in 1992 and received a great education! Then I started working here in 1996 and am still employed!! It's a great place to study and work!!

I’ve been in Kenosha for almost a year just started at Gateway this year! Really enjoying it so far teachers are great an helpful! Hoping to get more involved in student activities haven’t really branched out to those groups yet but really wanting to!

It is a great start. I really like the Gateway Promise Program for students that are just coming out of high school.
