I have had issues with my hip resurfacing. They made me pay additional fees to have it looked at and then the responses to the issues have been negligible and only prompted by multiple efforts on my part. Given the lack of response, I am worried that they are not being honest with me about the state of my resurfacing. I am not receiving the candid information or the follow-up service that I expect given the money that I paid to have my hip done.

I spent $31,000 on surgery, plus intake fees and travel, and I called asking for a meeting because, after 11 months and all rehab, my hip still has soreness.  I was denied, was suggested to go to my family doctor for X-rays, and told a consult at this point would be $250 because I had waited too long.  That is poor service.

I had my private hip replacement on July 23rd at Gateway Calgary and was impressed by the nurses, by Taylor who organzed the arrangement for the surgery, the staff who were friendly and attentive,  and by Dr. Illical who was my surgeon.
