Superior customer experience with Gateway Subaru, I have used them twice recently for my Subaru Outback Touring. I tend to be cynical, through past experience with other garages, but if the objective of Gateway is to build a loyal customer base then they are defining how to exceed expectations. For new or used purchases, or servicing, I will have no hesitation in using them again…and again….and again. 100% genuine people that truly care for their customers.
I can't say enough good things about this dealership and Matt, my salesman. I'm not a fan of the negotiation grind with dealers, and honestly went in there with a bit of a chip on my shoulder expecting the runaround. Working with Matt was anything but. He was super friendly, patient, and extremely tolerant of my hesitation to be part of the car buying process and honestly made it very easy and smooth. Visited this service department in October of 2025 for recall warranty service on my Outback. Took over 2-hours just to verify the service was required. They supposedly ordered the part which, 7- months later still hasn’t come in. Finally took my car to Annapolis Subaru and the part was ordered and repair done within 2-weeks. I would never recommend this dealership!
Staff was pleasant. Staff was generally knowledgeable. Pricing could be improved a bit.
