We had a plumbing emergency in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, and were assured that Gateway Sewer & Drain followed CDC and local St Louis City/County guidelines, including mask, gloves, booties, etc. It was completely untrue -- the technician took no safety precautions whatsoever.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! they say they are cheap compared to other companies, well there is a reason for that... not once but twice had to have them called ($200) each time, and said they fixed the problem. When asked why the drain backed up I was told some bs excuse that my pipes “were in rough shape” and because of this could not get a camera down there to find my clean out. This wasn’t true at all! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️After another company couldn't get the job done after 2 days, we called Gateway. They gave us a same day appointment window between 10-2. Cody called at 11 and had the job done by 11:45. Cody was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. The other company was going to charge us $700. Gateway only charged us under $200. I will recommend them to everyone.

Gateway sewer provided poor service and communication. They misdiagnose my clog, never finished the work and still charged me significantly more than the competitors. When I followed up they refused to compromise at all. I am a business owner myself and would never have taken that stance.
