I was taken to this hospital via ambulance, without my knowledge, in the middle of a psychotic/manic episode after being in the ER. It was the first time I'd ever experienced this. I was found naked, was taken to the ER, and then I woke up in Gateway Regional Medical Center. Here, I received scheduled meals, and I felt so safe, even though the environment was filled with delusional people, like me. They killed my first child by not recognizing they needed to transport me to children's in 2019. I've been quiet about this but since the hospital is under investigation I figured I should put my 2 cents in. I was 33 weeks pregnant with my first child and chose to go to gateway due to lack of fetal movements, and it was closer to my family, despite me living in collinsville at the time.
