I called Sunday afternoon and spoke with the intake coordinator. I gave her tons of details. She told me they could send an uber. She said someone would get right back to me. I never got a call back. I called back an hour later and again and again. At this point I’ve called probably twenty times at every number I can find for both locations. I’ve been to Beauterre twice recently am supposed to be going back. However c I tag to attend medical stents first. I wanted to safely detox from perscribed medication, and not deal with another horror story at home ( a lot of mental health medication can cause an array of issues including seizures when stopped, even after tapering.) Most of the staff was fantastic! They are engaging and do a great job! They are on top of it. You get a shared room, but you also get a TV in your room! Best detox in the tri-state area . Compassionate caring staff. (Except for the 1 crabby dry drunk cook. Smart tv In room . Smoking area in covered entryway . Can smoke anytime no waiting or asking staff for approval. And can have cigarettes and lighter on you . Good food. Lots of snacks and powerade on hand 24/7. Comfort meds provided .. big bathrooms .. nice shower rooms and they help you get into treatment when done detoxing. If I could id give l0 stars.
