GATEWAY COMPREHENSIVE MEDICAL IS TERRIBLE. Getting medications handled through this office is unbelievably difficult, with delays, poor communication, and unnecessary frustration. The office manager, Alma, is extremely rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. She seemingly had no interest in speaking with me unless the call was coming from an insurance company. Front desk receptionist are unprofessional, low budget, poor customer service women. The doctor is non existent at this clinic. I'm honestly surprised they haven't been reported for medical malpractice and negligence sooner. I am submitting a formal complaint with CDPH. I advise anyone else who has been neglected or delayed medication submit a written or online complaint. The doctors can be reported to the board as well. Do not bring family or yourself here.
Came to see Heidi Amundsen because the MD was not available Waited over an hour and a half to be seen for my first appointment. Had to leave but I am so disappointed with the service. Unacceptable and waste of patients time. Why make an appointment in the first place? Changing doctors!!
Brought my mom to gateway and they took great care of her, service was fast and staff was nice
