One of the worst decisions we made when buying a home. Zero transparency when it comes to how the homes are built and how they are marketed. Constant problems. Would not recommend.

After almost a year of living in a Starlight home, I can confidently say I do not regret purchasing this property because Gateway Parks meets our family's needs. I wasn't surprised by Starlight’s builder quality, as we conducted thorough research and prioritized the community alongside the home’s quality. This company is horrible. Don't recommend. They lied to us and said no section-8 housing in the neighborhood and so we built in a so called nice neighborhood as first time home buyers. There is 3 home owners on our street and the entire street and all of my neighbors are section-8. Crime has risen to an all time high, weed is being smoked up and down the street and the HOA ran by them just tells us nothing can be done. They sell to investors and probably get a cut from them. HORRIBLE!

Wondering why you're able to afford such a home at such a price? What you’re not spending in mortgage, you will likely spend in repairs and upkeep very quickly. Starlight Homes in Gateway have gone up in record time (as quickly as two months) and the appearance of the homes indicate such. Drive through the rest of the community and you’ll see a stark contrast in the existing homes built in, what was supposed to be, a premier neighborhood in Forney.
