My son is a junior at UK and we just moved into this apartment building. Parking is an absolute nightmare. If u have a vehicle, I would not recommend moving into the complex .
Incredibly well placed location in proximity to the University. Very well thought out floor plans, especially when living with a roommate.
After reading further reviews, I am also coming as a concerned parent for my son, who resides here with you all at Gateway Lofts, due to the parking situation. Upon touring, we were shown all of the beautiful amenities and one also being the covered parking garage, that they offer. We were informed that he would have access to this garage and would receive a parking pass after applying and being approved for a unit. I’ve lived at Gateway Lofts Lexington and am incredibly disappointed—especially regarding parking and the apathetic leasing office. Despite being shown the building’s garage during my tour, I was later told it’s not enough parking for residents. Suggestions like “get a UK parking permit” or “park at nearby businesses” aren’t solutions—many of those cars get towed almost immediately. Worse, staff seem dismissive when concerns are raised. Fantastic new building close to everything! The design is so beautiful and the amenities are top notch! The gym is perfect - no need for a second gym membership anywhere else. The staff is super friendly and helpful, too!
