Be aware! After buying the house, they will act weird. There is no warranty, even the AC was broken down after 6 months. The plumping issues, and etc. They work with the cheapest companies, and once you bought the house they will treat you like sh&*t. Customer service manager, James was a extremely unprofessional. and unorganized. Just to let you know, there is only one year warranty which doesnt include the labor. Avoid! Gateway homes is a prime example of why families are reluctant to purchase new homes. The have a failing organization and lack of management. After signing the buyers agreement the process goes from Ok to a nightmare. The sales rep in my community was very unorganized and forgetful. He would forget to call the inspectors to inspect completed work so this would delay the completion time, he would forget to order or oversee the ordering of material which caused a huge delay in completion.
