The worst experience of my life. The job description and the actual job is totally different. I was sent to IMC.The only female at the facility and being harassed etc.I express the issue with my recruiter and she was nonchalant. Being a Black African American woman you are already labeled the underdog. Please run and run fast!

Called them the same day I was laid off from previous employer. Recruiter actually had a client with a position. I sent my updated resume and the recruiter said he would be in touch. I emailed him about a another company interested in me but he didn't respond. When I emailed the recruiter to check in the next day he didn't respond again. I began to feel like I was being ghosted. Was working with them on a degreed position. I am a recent grad with my whole career in front of me. Went into the office, filled out their paperwork, and was told I would be contacted within a couple of days once they had an interview time worked out with their client (the employer). Waited 2 days, heard nothing. Called back my recruiter, no answer. Left a voicemail. Waited 2 more days, heard nothing. Called again, no answer, left another voicemail. Jane from Gateway Personnel reached out to me after finding my resume on a job board, seeing what hundreds of other employers did not. I was shortly placed with a local company as a temporary replacement, which finally gave me an opportunity to demonstrate job skills that I knew I had. Jered offered as much support as I needed, and even negotiated on my behalf when they decided to hire me on. I am now fully employed by that local company in their accounting department.
