THIS COMPANY WILL RIP YOU OFF. BEWARE. They may offer you savings up front. but watch out later. The rates for their gas were triple than the regular providers rates. Awful company for taking advantage of my father, and eldery man. Very glad I saw his gas bills for this year. Agreed! Total rip-off!
I called about our cancellation fee... I find it unbelievable that you would charge that amount when we cancelled with you a couple weeks after we signed contract. Your representatives came in and had a lower rate then who we were with, convinced us to sign the contract and that we did not have to contact the other service provider by signing this contract it would automatically switch over. This should be minus 5 stars. I just learned that I was "enrolled" in Gateway Energy by fraud - they claim by telephone by way of a "telemarketer" some years ago. We have been defrauded for thousands o dollars. We pay our gas bill to National Grid but most of the money was sent on to Gateway Energy who informed National Grid that I wa enrolled with them.
