WORST service I had in my entire life . Tried it twice with different waiters and both times was horrible service never coming back again. They act like they’re busy when they are not busy at all and waiters are super rude cant even get one smile out of them .

Customer service bad, all waitress and managers were so rude. You ask them a question and they seem bothered about it.

My husband and I waited to be seated at the hostess’s stand for over 20 min and was never seated or acknowledged. The host just stared at us from across the room and never said anything to us. He was just chatting with his coworkers. This was a horrible experience and we will never go back.

The food tasted ok. I wouldn’t go out of my way to return. The portion size was good. It’s clean, the staff were good and prompt. Being right next to the pool area is a nightmare. It’s like you’re in a giant music hall filled of screaming people and kids. I’ve seen others complain about price. Yes it’s a little high, but look where you are. Next to NYC and EWR, it costed us $72 for 2 pasta bowls with chicken, 2 drinks and some fries. Kind of what you’d expect for the area and being inside a hotel.

I enjoyed a delightful dining experience at Gateway City Kitchen And Bar ! The pizza 🍕 for lunch was a perfect start, and the salmon 🍣 for dinner was simply exquisite. Fast service and reasonable prices make this hotel bar a must-visit. I will definitely eat here again next time I’m staying at the Double Tree Hotel.
