We have worked with Dee on our personal and business returns. Our business returns are quite complicated. She has always answered our questions and given great advice in a timely manner. Dee does a great job with our returns and has given us great business tax service over the years. I highly recommend her services.
If you want your taxes done in a timely matter don’t use this Company….I’ve been using them since they were a 1 person office now for some reason it takes them 2 months to do your taxes since getting larger..heed my advice don’t In there response they we're suppose to do an extension?????? what happened to that. I can't control when you get to my taxes and make me pay penalties that's on you and your employees. I was rest assured when I called several times there was no problem but I guess there was. Mindi has done our business and personal taxes for several years. She is a patient and kind person. She explains things very well and always makes my wife and me feel comfortable/reassured. About twice a year we typically bring several questions written down to ask her about our business and taxes and she always gives confident, clear and easy to understand answers. Easy recommendation!
I do not recommend this company for Tax Returns. I moved to Fort Myers in 2021 and was referred by a coworker. I filed my Tax Return with them last year with plenty of time and they filed an extension unbeknownst to me. I cut them some slack because I worked at a couple of different places so I had multiple W2s. This year I decided to give them another chance and again turned in my paperwork with plenty of time so no extensions were needed. My experience with Mindy is very poor. I moved to Fort Myers in 2020 and selected another accounting firm to do my Taxes. Early this year I received notice that he closed his business. He referred Gateway Accounting & Tax Service and said Mindy was taking over his accounts. I made an appointment with Mindy for March 6 to review my Taxes. At the appointment I gave Mindy all my records which she never looked at. That meeting lasted maybe 15 minutes during which time Mindy said it would take 2 to 4 weeks for the returns.
