Bill always takes great care of our dogs! They are bathed when we pick them up. His prices are great! He truly enjoys caring for our dogs!

ABSOLUTLY love this place. I have been taking my Shitzu Bambi for years and he is always happy and there is never no issues when picking him up. Kennel is always clean and Bill does an wonderful job with taking care of my Bambi and he works with you on all schedule. Thank you Bill for everything🥰❤️
Clean, friendly, the dogs were bathed upon our return. Their hours were convenient. It is close to where we live. The dogs seemed happy. We will use them again.
Gate House Kennel is the only kennel I have ever taken my German Shepard (who is now 6 years old), but after this time, Gate House is definitely the only kennel I will take him to me. Pesos had diarrheaa unknown to me. Bill immediately notified me and for his entire stay watched him, personally made sure he got medication (Bill went to Dr. Sloan Smithfield Animal Hospital for me, no charge)he gave Pesos every day, walked him, stayed in touch with me every day and still Pesos got an A+ in his Camper Card. I’m so thankful for Gate House Kennel. We needed someone to watch our 1 1/2 yr Husky for two nights on super short notice while we were away. A few other kennels in the area refused due to considering Blu a large breed and no longer accepting them. After googling a bit I found Gate House Kennel’s info. I called Monday morning needing boarding for the very next day and was so happy to hear the owner say he would be willing to board her. Bill was so helpful in cutting our 8 pound papillon's nails. She is terrified of having her front feet touched because of severe trauma and abuse before we adopted her. He asked us to hold Emma while he cut her nails so that he could cut them quickly and avoid possibly being bitten by her because of her high levels of fear and anxiety. She struggled but did not bite. He did a wonderful job in cutting her nails and did not cause her any pain. His grooming facility is clean and has no obnoxious odors.
