Gate City Anesthesia handled my anesthesia yesterday (8/19/2026) when I had my right total hip replacement. The doctor and her team did an outstanding job, great bedside manner, just human with understanding and a relaxed and calm way of explaining what and how the "knock out" (my words, not hers) would be done. Oral, local and spinal... if I remember correctly. Everything went very smoothly I guess because I remember nothing. A great team! Dr. Paitel was awesome. He was so professional and yet a friendly doctor who took time to introduce himself and answer my questions. The nurse anesthetist did such a great job that I experienced NO pain during my surgery.
