Beware of the 20% restocking fee. Even if you buy something due to their bad advice, and take an item back after a couple of hours, unopened, you are going to loose 20%. It's on the receipt which you only see if you've already paid, and an A4 sized notice on a shelf with loads of other clutter which they don't point out when you are buying. Your £20 fee just cost you a one star review and I won't ever be going back. Hope that was worth it for you folks.

Did some showroom work here for Lee. Spent two days putting in a display. A well stocked store. Nothing is to much trouble for Lee. A top bloke. Free tea and coffee on offer. This place has everything you need. And if they haven't got it they will bend over backwards to get it. Would definitely recommend.

Such a great shop to have locally. A real help to those of us like myself whose DIY skills are average to poor. Unlike big chains, these guys know their stuff and are happy to offer advice for how to complete jobs as well as what parts or tools might be required. A special shout out and thank you to Val who has served me on the last couple of occasions and offered no end of good advice. These are exactly the sort of shops we need to be supporting.

I desperately needed a part yesterday afternoon. Jaedan from Gasworld Ruislip promised to research it - and call me back asap. He phoned round the branches, sorted out what I needed and phoned me back very efficiently. He was really helpful and a great communicator. I got my job done. Thanks Jaedan.

Val showed above and beyond help, he was very thorough with explaining the multitude of issues i have with my bathroom and was very knowledgable of how to solve these issues. I will definitely shop here again.
