This has to be the most dysfunctional office and professional business I've ever had the non - pleasure of going to or even knowing. So sad on so many levels...
This place is awful. I'm at a loss of words to even explain what I'm going through. Diagnosed with h pylori in November and still trying to get 2nd round of meds in Mar. If you have love ones take them elsewhere....seriously. I don't normally write negative reviews but this is unacceptable for anyone.
I went through almost two years of battling with one of the practitioners here just to be heard and acknowledged. The dr. continuously made my treatment about mental health when my symptoms were clearly not related to that. She begrudgingly referred me to a colorectal surgeon with the preface that they would probably turn me away because all I have is IBS caused by anxiety and the rest of the agony I was experiencing was just ignored. I have had two experiences over the last 15 years with the dr's at Gastrointestinal Specialists. My most recent experience with Dr. Bhalala was a dumpster fire from beginning to end. He literally did NOT listen to me during my initial visit, talked over me and would not listen to my symptoms, never even made eye contact. Told me to go to CVS and "try" a very expensive OTC product that has peppermint in it to help aid digestions. He ordered a colonoscopy for me, that process went fine.
