RecommendedDr. Geissinger knows what he’s doing and works quick during procedures. The entire staff (nurses and anesthesiologists) were super helpful and kind.
I have been with this practice for years and have struggled with malabsorption as a result of short gut for my entire life. This entire practice has gone downhill since Dr. Willis left to move across the country. Currently a patient and have never been so dissatisfied with treatment/follow up . Tried to transfer and another doctor won’t take me on as a patient.
After a colonoscopy and endoscopy I was sent a form in the mail for an appointment for a pill cam procedure on 8/19/2020. I called multiple times throughout the month until my appointment to make sure they would get prior authorization from my insurance. I was assured after talking to both JoAnn and Michelle in the billing dept. that They would handle getting authorization and I did not need to worry since it was a necessary procedure there would be no issue. *IMPORTANT NOTE* This review is specifically for J. Mark Lawson, MD. Not the entire practice. There are good doctor's here, for example, Dr. Iyer Harish is very good and kind. Dr. Lawson and Staff, My mother came to this Doctor about 4 or 5 years ago with chronic stomach problems. Vomiting every day, nausea, etc. Dr. Lawson was extremely rude. During my hospital stay a month ago I had an upper gastric endoscopy performed. I was told to wait for the doctor to come in and talk to me and then he would arrange for transport back to my room. I waited for an hour and began to panic when I saw the nurses prepping rooms for the next day and turning off lights. I had no cell phone or call button to get help and I am crippled so I couldn’t get down off the bed to get help.
