Rebecca Mooney is kind and understanding. The office staff, however, are not. It takes an awfully long time for someone to even answer the phone. When they do, they are impatient, rude, and abrupt. In addition, the wait times at the office are egregious. For some reason the long wait time at this office is normalized. It is very disheartening to go through this; I have never experienced this amount of dismissal from office staff with GBMC before. Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor’s office. I went to a scheduled appointment with PA Rebecca Mooney, for a colonoscopy consult on Monday, June 1, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Upon arrival, I was asked to pay a $20 copay and was directed to the waiting room. I was quickly called into the examination room to speak with an attendant. If I could give these people 0 stars I would but I can't. I have had a ileus and small bowel obstruction for now 6 months and I'm still sitting here waiting for them to do something. I have diminished bowel sounds constant vomiting anything I eat and severe pain and all they do is cancel appointments or want to schedule u months out and then tell u go repeat tests. I am showing signs malnutrition and they don't even want to order tpn i am trying to survive with iv fluids thru a picc line. These people are neglectful do not g... read more

Awful! Starting w trying to call. Each time just on hold for 25 min trying to get ahold of the practice itself. I give up. The NP I met with was very arrogant and outright dismissive of my concerns and things I shared w her of medications that worked on the past or did not. She said I was not ‘complying’ with HER orders. How barbaric! A good doctor or NP/PA will listen to a patient; their concerns and what is working for them or not. As well as learn from the patient.
