After waking up from anesthesia, at a time when I felt particularly vulnerable, I found the doctor’s bedside manner to be rude and dismissive. I felt completely uncared for during a sensitive recovery period. When I later attempted to discuss this experience over the phone and explained how belittled and invalidated I felt, the response I received was that he was "not a mind reader." Finally got through (call dropped after 20 minute hold) - My wife was listening in to my conversation with the receptionist and my wife said "Wow, that Briana person really hates her job". Called my primery and asked to switch providers. Would rather go w/ someone else than wait 3 months for a fibroscan.
