Finally a proper diagnosis and the correct medication. I am so thankful to Dr Gara. Had I not been let down by other doctors, had I known how much attention Dr Gara would provide me with I would have been on the correct medication for my UC long ago because i would have paid him a visit long ago. Doesn’t want to deal with stomach issues like malabsorption of food, refers you back to your primary doctor. Performed an endoscopy which I wanted in order to rule out anything that might be serious. His finding was that I had a “minor irritation of the stomach lining” and prescribed Protonix. A few days later his secretary calls me wanting to schedule me for another endoscopy in 3 months. Dr Gara is wonderful, always inform you in a timely matter. He calls you regarding test results which which I appreciate, it's nice to hear from the doctor instead of an email or a text.
