Extremely dissatisfied with this facility. They have billed my insurance company for over $12,000 for a basic colonoscopy with biopsy. Minus my insurance company contracted amount, I still owe over $4,200. Corewell Health only billed me $850 for the same procedure the year prior. Both in-network. They bill very high for their procedures so be sure to ask before you get any procedures with them. Not thrilled with the doctors care either.
They make decisions for you - without consent. Worst experience in my healthcare journey. And that's saying something considering I've been in constant pain since the age of 22. My GI ordered 12+ tests, some that required me to stay all day at the hospital, and felt they had reached the end of what a general GI could do. They sent a referral for me to see a functional specialist here. Someone on their team decided - without speaking with me OR my GI - that I didn't need a specialist.
