Just saw him yesterday. I have a colonoscopy and endoscopy annually with Dr. Stampfl due to a genetic condition, and have always had a positive experience. His entire staff is just terrific, and they work with great efficiency, and respect. I would highly recommend!
Would give 0 star review if could. Everytime I tried to explain what's going on or even tell a symptom, immeadiatly interrupted me. I have contacted them in regards, an no one is willing to give any kind of reconciliation for it (reimbursement for visits which were a waste of my time, vacation, money all at my expense) I was misdiagnosed and treated like a number. My family practitioner told me to discontinue use of a drug due to severe side effects which I was hospitalized for, and he advised me to take double! I tried to e... read more
After colonoscopy. While I was changing he came in, smiled weirdly and said "you have cancer" and abruptly left. I realize he doesn't get paid for his outstanding personality but this was ridiculous. Thank God he only did the colonoscopy. The other people worked with me there are great.
He's very creepy! Absolutely no bedside manner. But when he knows that he gets to do a colonoscopy then he's smiling at you in a creepy kind of way. I will never go back to him! Creepy!
If I could give negative stars I would. When I was 7 years old Dr. stampfl performed a colonoscopy on me and poked 3 holes in my colon almost killing me. After 4 months in the hospital I survived. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Stay away!!!
