Have had my little Gastineau Log home for 17 years now and just love it. Had originally planned to build and sell it after my last child graduated and moved out, but kind of fell in love with my little house and have been here ever since. We placed a good size deposit on a Gastineau Log Home in December 2021. Lost deposit and several monthly payments to them. All I can say is do your research before putting a deposit on any log home. Read the contract thoroughly or have a lawyer look it over. Either build it yourself or if you do have a contractor to build it make sure you have a signed contract with the builder before you move forward. We bought a log cabin kit for mom. We also built in on site ourselves. Gastineau log homes was like working with friends. They were prompt in answering questions and held our hand the whole way through. I would buy another log home from them and would recommend them to anyone. You wont be disappointed with the log home or the company that provides them...
