Do not purchase anything from these people. We bought a very expensive lounge and after 1 month the stuffing in the pillows collapsed and we can hardly sit on it anymore, it is so uncomfortable. We tried to liase with their customer care team but there is NO customer care at all. Told us there is nothing wrong with the lounge and now Fair Trading are dealing with it. STAY AWAY!!!!!
Very disappointed with my experience at Gascoigne Leather Centre. I paid a deposit for a leather couch that was supposed to arrive within 3 weeks. Unfortunately, I never received any proper follow-up communication regarding the arrival of the product. After some time passed, I contacted the store myself to check on the order, only to be told they had “sent emails” that I never received. Worst customer service. The old woman who works there is very rude. If you don't like what she wants to sell you, she immediately starts making faces behind your back. I definitely won't ask her how to decorate my home, but I will buy what I like. I think she needs to learn how to behave first and then work with people. With staff like this, you will only lose your customers.
Very very friendly and helpfull personnel. By names Peter and Tod on the floor as well as the two admin ladies. Which some other bussinesses could learn from Gascoigne. Thanks guys Abie Cilliers
