Gas Man did not install my hot water tank to natural gas code. I found out when my gas meter had to be replaced, and the gas fitter pointed it out. I tried contacting Gas Man to come and complete the repair since they did the install, but I found out that the business is not currently operating. Calls (if you get through), are being forwarded to a third party unrelated to this company.
Called numerous times, even used their online form. No response whatsoever. Save your time and don't bother contacting this company.
I recently had a disappointing experience with Ben from Gas Man Ottawa regarding a fireplace repair. They initially charged me about $200 for a diagnosis, only to inform me that the gas valve was broken and would need a replacement at a cost of $1,600. The technician claimed that the original Honeywell part was irreparable and suggested supplying a different brand/model. This company did excellent work, friendly, on time, work was done in the specific time frame, explained what they were doing and why, I will hire them again with no issues!
