I’m currently deployed so I had my wife drop off my car to have some work done. I had her tell them my issue and they looked at her like she was crazy and had no idea what she was talking about. A week and a half later they finally got around to looking at it and then quoted me $400 for something I didn’t even need fixed. So the end product is I’m $600 in and my vehicle has the same issue as before and their solution is to pay them another $2300 to have the original problem fixed. I highly recommend Gary's transmissions for transmission replacement or rebuild. I had my 2002 Honda Civic towed to Gary's because their price to replace the transmission was half of the cost in The Triangle area. They replaced the transmission with one I had found at a junkyard and it was bad!! After that Todd worked with me on rebuilding the original transmission. 9/2014. They charged me 250. To tell me I need a new transmission.told me \$2000. - 2200. Charged me 2400. Car quit with less then 2000 miles on rebuilt transmission., other shop found a lose wire, bad sensor and a leak! They did not seal the pump correctly. I end up paying another 400. Poor workmanship and service. I do not recommend, in fact run from this garage!
Great people...very knowledgable of transmissions! I went in to Gary's Transmission and they were very nice to take the time and explain to me what was going on with my truck. They fixed my car in a day and gave me an estimate before it was scheduled to be fixed. Ms. Jones must have gone to a different place than me!!
Very family oriented and friendly. Had a code 1870 on my truck and they installed shift kit to fix it up. Great deal.
