It took Gary's 4 weeks to replace my previously shot turbo and the turbo he replaced it with seized at roughly 20,000km from fitment. The oil return line didn't have the necessary clamps on the oil return that connects from the turbo to the engine and explains the continuous loss of oil. No evap solenoid which I found broken just below where it should be. No clamps on the wastegate actuator or a tee connecting the factory solenoid to the actuator and the turbo. No restrictor pill. I have been going to Gary for over 6 years with multiple different cars. I keep coming back because he is always available even though he is very busy. He always explains everything and makes you feel respected as a customer, he's never pushy. Rude, doesn’t listen, isn’t helpful at all. Call to ask what work had previously been done on a car on the last 3 services by him as the person selling it wasn’t the owner at those services and couldn’t tell me what was done. I have done this with multiple other mechanics who have no issue helping me. He ranted on about customer privacy, said to get them to tell you what I did on it or have them come here with you … genius idea mate the person selling the car isn’t the same owner.
